My ESP LTD EC-1000QM Deluxe
I bought this guitar as a goal for one month sober. Musician's Friend had a sale as these were being replaced with the new models, so I bought one.
Fit and Finish
Of all the guitars I've owned, this one is
the most well-crafted instrument I've played. The
workmanship is impeccable.
I put red, green, and yellow marks on my volume knobs so that I can quickly find my place, even in low light situations.
This guitar has locking tuners, which help
keep it in tune. This is a basic Les Paul style electric
guitar, so other than that, the features are mostly
vanilla. I plan to put an Earvana string nut on this
guitar when I can afford to do so.
The Seymour Duncan '59 neck and JB bridge
are fantastic. This guitar doesn't come with splitting
capabilities, but I can install them later. Overall, this
is the perfect versatile guitar. I prefer the Jazz neck to
the '59, but the '59 excels at rhythm. The JB is great for
solos and does pretty good with drop D.
